  • Preferences: Language, voice persona, daily pod time
  • Watchlist: Stock tickers, mutual fund names, commodity symbols

Automatically Collected

  • Device Tokens: FCM token for push notifications
  • Usage Data: Pod generation history, timestamps

We Do NOT Collect

  • Direct Payment Data: Credit card numbers are processed entirely by Apple/Google via RevenueCat. We only receive receipt validation status.
  • Contacts, photos, or other device data
  • Location tracking

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Pod Generation: Watchlist sent to Google Gemini AI for analysis
  • Audio Synthesis: Scripts converted via ElevenLabs TTS
  • Storage: Audio files stored on AWS S3 / Cloudflare R2
  • Notifications: FCM tokens for pod delivery alerts
  • Subscription Management: Processing receipts to grant Premium access

4. Third-Party Services

Your data is processed by:

  • Google Gemini AI (script generation)
  • ElevenLabs (voice synthesis)
  • Yahoo Finance (market data)
  • RevenueCat (subscription validation)
  • AWS/Cloudflare (storage)
  • Firebase (authentication & notifications)

5. Data Security

  • Passwords are hashed
  • JWT tokens for session management
  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all API communication
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

6. Your Rights

  • Access: View your profile and pod history in the app
  • Correction: Update name, email, password via Settings
  • Deletion: Delete account permanently via Settings
  • Opt-Out: Disable push notifications in device settings

7. Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: Data retained while account is active
  • Deleted Accounts: All data permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Audio Files: Pods older than 90 days may be purged

Artalk is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
